definitive work on the European tradition of horizontal log
construction.
Begins with sections on the physical makeup and properties of wood,
tree species, and the many aspects of proper felling and
seasoning.
Following on this are detailed chapters on:

- Partition wall joinery, (including intricate notching techniques)
