Perma-Chink Finishes for Log and Wood Sided Homes

PermaChink has been manufacturing log home chinking since the early 1980's. Over the years they have added to their product line with log and wood finishes, cleaning and sealing products and several lines of caulking.

LifeLine Ultra-2 is a natural semi-transparent exterior finish that shades and highlights the woods true beauty. Incorporates transparent iron oxide pigments to block damaging ultraviolet (UV) light in a long lasting system.  Apply 2 coats of Ultra 2 followed by 1-2 coats of Lifeline Advance Clear Top Coat.

Coverage is 350-450 sq. ft. per gallon for first coat, 600-800 sq. ft. per gallon for second coat.

Ultra-2 is compatible with previous Lifeline exterior finishes. 
Two-part system to be used with LIFELINE Advance clear topcoat (below).

Lifeline Exterior is a natural semi-transparent finish that shades and highlights the woods true beauty. A latex finish that encases wood fibers for deep penetration and long lasting protection. 
Lifeline Exterior resists water penetration yet allows wood to breath. 
Thin, back brushed application will result in greater performance, better looks, and customer satisfaction. Apply two coats and follow with one or two coats of Lifeline Advance Clear Top Coat (in Satin or Gloss).
Remember, highly pigmented stains give more long term UV protection.. 

Coverage; estimated to be 350-450 sq. ft.  per gallon for 1st coat, 600-800 sq. ft. per gallon for 2nd coat. Breathable finish. 2 coat application, (must be back brushed),  with 1-2 coats of Permachink Lifeline Advance as top coat. (see below)

Dry to touch in one hour. Cures in 72 hours.

A natural water-borne interior acrylic wood finish that provides a breathable layer that highlights the beauty and grain of the wood. Breathable formula allows natural wood moisture to dissipate from the wood, yet provides a tough film surface that can be cleaned and dusted. 

 

Coverage: 350-450 s.f. per gallon for first coat. 600-800 s.f. per gallon for additional coats. Apply 1-2 coats depending on desired color and finish.
